DACRUZ

DACRUZ is a new Franco-Mexican project created by Carlos and Djeko, former members of the band Lemon Mint, which dissolved in 2024 after a decade-long journey, three albums released since 2014, and performances across Mexico and abroad.

 

Rather than marking an end, that dissolution opened a new chapter. Driven by a deep friendship and a musical chemistry that continues to resonate strongly, Carlos and Djeko chose to keep exploring new sonic territories together. Throughout 2024 and 2025, they continued performing live in different cities across Mexico, keeping the spirit of Lemon Mint alive while shaping a new artistic identity.

 

DACRUZ emerges as an intimate and magnetic fusion: the convergence of their cultural roots with a live electronic universe, where Carlos’s guitars intertwine with Djeko’s vocals, percussion, and stage energy. In their concerts, Lemon Mint’s repertoire coexists with unreleased compositions that signal the beginning of a new era.

 

Currently, the duo is writing and producing an EP with a distinctive and experimental character. Their new music will be released in late 2026, marking the official beginning of this new sonic journey.
